My chosen word for the New Year is gratitude. I am more aware of all the little gifts in life that I have received that have filled my life with happiness. And I want to give back this year...starting with these little gifts just for you!
I created the two following PDF files using some of my favorite nature photography from the past year and inscribed them with lovely and inspirational quotes from Rumi. Please do click on the links so that you can either save them to your computer or print for framing. The files are formatted in high resolution and will print out in 8 x 10 format. I hope you find them just as inspiring as I do. Choose one or both!

I always try to seek joy in things that I love, such as nature and animals and art and literature.
I thank you all for joining me in my journey this past year - and I hope you will continue to follow along in 2012. I have a lot of plans and ideas, which I hope will come to fruition - and I want YOU to be a part of it.

Happy new year to you too Theresa! Your photos are lovely - I especially like the one with the bee. What a great gift! I think gratitude is a great thing to be focused on... I've found myself being grateful for things more and more often recently, probably because I catch myself complaining about the silliest things and then realize how much we have to be thankful for.

You and I have both wayyyyy too an interesting year ;) I think I've been isolating and hunkering down b/c this year has just been a little too interesting. I'm sure you know the chinese curse "May you live in Interesting times," yeah right, lol..I love Rumi and it is a beautiful gift that you give but that you always give, even though I've been absent, I carry your heart.
My 2012 word is "Equanimity" perfect for a Libra. And today I'm listening to Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zero's a group that always puts me instantly into a good mood. Lots of beautiful and peaceful times for all of you.

Another awesome post Theresa, and you and your other half look so happy and wonderfully beautiful!! I like your word, it is one I also need to pick. However for me this year it is more important for me to accept, and use a phrase..."Let it go"...a friend said to put it into one word might be release.
