Witches Tea Party (and Giveaway) Under a Halloween Moon!

Welcome! I'm glad you've all arrived for this wonderful Witches Tea Party Under a Halloween Moon!  This delightful party is hosted by Anna of Frosted Petunias!  Please do be sure to visit with all the party revelers this All Hallows weekend!  This list of participants can be found HERE.

Are you ready to begin?  Be sure to wear your finest hat...
And your most beautiful shoes...
For a flight in the night, where the pumpkins grin and black cats sleep...
Past beautiful strange flowers that glow orange...
Where will you land?  Right there in that field near the inviting warm house with buckets filled with fresh apple  cider right outside the door and the scent of delicious treats inside!
Do take care to park your broom in the proper place!
It's a little dark out, but these friendly butterflies are happy to light the way for you...
Follow the trail of brightly colored leaves and crow's feathers to the door and come on inside!
Our friendly host Nathaniel is ready to lead you to the drawing room, where all your fellow witches are assembled...
It's warm inside, with a fire roaring in the fireplace - where there's beautiful fall leaves and strawberry corn hung from the mantle with much care!
It's time for tea...beautiful, fragrant delicious tea!  Let's take some flowers and herbs and tea leaves and blend them well...
The finest of tea cups are laid out for the occasion!  Time for tea - sugar or cream?  Maybe both - or neither!
What would a proper tea be without some delicious snacks?  May we tempt you with a cupcake or two?  Chocolate or vanilla?  More sprinkles?  Yes, please!
Now that we've had our tea and cupcakes, let's carve pumpkins!  We can roast the seeds afterwards for a delightful snack!  Hmmm...what shall we carve?  An owl?  A cat?  Maybe the moon?  The possibilities are endless...
GIVEAWAY TIME: Thank you so much for joining me for my Witches Tea Party.  I hope you had fun!  As a thank you, one lucky visitor will receive the vintage tea cup and saucer used in this post - along with some "magical" treats for your own Halloween spells, in addition to a little witches broom necklace and my Halloween witch bookmark for your favorite spooky read (there will also be one extra little surprise)!  This giveaway is open to all the Witches Tea Party members, visitors and my beautiful blog followers.

This giveaway will be open through Halloween night, October 31st.  I will announce the winner of this giveaway AND the winner from my Fanciful Twist Halloween Party post on November 1st.  If you haven't visited my party, click HERE.  There is still time to enter the giveaway there, too!

How do you enter the Halloween Tea giveaway?  Please share with me what your favorite tea is and why.  I am most partial to chai tea - I just adore the intoxicating blend of warm, rich spices like cinnamon, cardamom and nutmeg.  My hubby creates it for us on the stove - letting the tea and spices slowly steep, then adding light cream and a touch of honey.  It is delicious!
From me to all of you, All Hallows weekend!

Til next time,
Theresa

Theresa,
I had such a good time at your Witches Tea party.. It is so warm and cozy inside, I don't want to go..

Maybe I could stay longer and we could chat over a cup of Chai tea, as that is my favorite too :)

Have a wonderful Halloween!

What a FUN post! You just earned at least 50 cool points in my book for your lovely use of photos and imagery to create a magical giveaway. And it looks like someone makes a very pretty witch. I'm planning to be a squirrel this year. ;-)

As for my favorite tea, that's so difficult! It depends on the occasion. I like black tea in the morning (Earl Grey or Chai), mint tea when I feel sick or stuffy, chamomille when I need to chill. I never refuse a nice cup of tea.

Hi Theresa! Some tea in front of the fire sounds divine! Oh--and I will take a chocolate cupcake with extra sprinkles, thank you!
My favorite tea is my old family spiced tea recipe. I grew up drinking it. I will be posting the recipe for it on my blog tomorrow, as an addition to my party that I posted this evening. Great talking with you again!

Have a Magical Halloween!
Chrislyn

P.S. I feel so silly--I must be blind! You do have a Google Connect. So now I can join-yeah!

I love chai, but for my birthday this year, my husband and I went to a tea room--he was the only man there--but he's such a sport! We had tea and little fancy cakes and sandwiches and We bought some tea called Angel's Dream-which is a berry and vanilla flavored tea-yum.

Hello Theresa Dear...thank you for inviting me to your wonderful All Hallows Eve Tea. I have enjoyed my visit. As for my favorite tea it is good old Constant Comment. My older sister introduced me to it when I was about 15 and I still love it...hot or cold. Sometimes I mix lemon or ginger with it for a twist. Yum...a warm cup of tea right now would take the chill off this beautiful Autumn morning. Happy Haunting to you...

Loooved your party and the little vintage teacup caught my eye right away. Chai is my favorite tea as well, because I am a sucker for cinnamon... it is extra good with a slice of my raisin nut bread. Yum!

Hi Theresa. Lovely tea party! My favorite tea is Earl Grey. I just love the background notes of Bergamot. My favorite way to have it is at lunch with a turkey and tomato sandwich on a cold day. Yum. I would love to be entered in your giveaway.

lovely party Theresa! i love chai, I also love english breakfast, the chinese tea served in the restaurants---oohlong I think, and recently I tried 3 from "truly unique" on etsy.. protection tea, crones blend (fabulous) and one that is supposed to help you relax and sleep can not remember the name now.
Tea has oxilates in it, and therefore I can not drink it much (kidney stones) that ios why this herb blend teas are better for me then ones that have actual tea leaves... but I do drink it, just not like I used to...I am having a cup of Tetley right now with sweetener and milk :)

Hope you visit my party, I keep adding to it instead of 2 parts it is one long party, with at least 3 "prizes".
hugs,
Susan

Big hugs,

Lovely teaparty Theresa - what is that strawberry corn - I've never heard of it before! Must google it! I'm afraid my favourite tea is just the plain old fairtrade packet I buy in our local supermarket - but it has to be loose tea - no teabags in our house!

I love those sparkly shoes and everything about your party! (you know me, I'm a sucker for a good tea party) One of my favorite teas is one we have at the tea room I work at. It is called Cream Irish Breakfast and it is a rich Irish breakfast tea with a lovely creamy flavor added, yum!

I missed your last Halloween blog party because I was not around. I'm back now though and wanted to wish you a very happy Halloween. I can tell how much you LOVE Halloween.

I have tea each Tuesday with a few internet friends, so I am always experimenting with new tea. I've only had Chai once, and guess I'm a bit partial to the blends I get at my favorite spice, tea, and coffee store. It would be hard to pinpoint one, but I would probably pick blueberry infused white tea if I had a gun pointed at my head (grin).

How festive!!! I loved the tea! that I'd wear with the hat and those pretty shoes!!! Again, you presented this so well!!!

lots of hugs,
Lisa

Happy Halloween!!!

The tea I drink the most is green tea as it's my substitute for coffee but my favourite tea is by Twinings and is a mix of camomile, rooibos, lavender and cocoa beans :-) Jen

Oh, it's just like me to fly in late. I don't have a watch and these days I haven't even a calendar. I do love chai tea because I so love cardamon. Well, cardamon and honey! In the cooler months, a warm mug between two hands is most excellent a brew to bring about delights of the mind and conversation. It is very calming. In the warmenr months, I love, love, love Hibiscus tea, warmed by the sun. Lately, I have mixed Hibiscus with Acai. I sweeten the iced teas with agave. I suppose, like every witch, every season, has her tea! Joyous New Year.

Thank You for Stopping By!
